Head of Manufacturing (m/f/d) - (Full Time)

EFT Mobility is looking for an experienced head of manufacturing who will lead the build-up and execution of a battery pack final assembly line (output up to 5000 units/year). You will be responsible for setting up all the relevant tooling, defining assembly and validation processes, and setting up the logistics and supply chain.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Processes & Tooling: Lead the introduction of the required tooling and the setup of all related processes (ERP, MES, …)
Assembly: Define the assembly process, assembly line layout, and format of assembly instructions.
End of Line & Quality: Define end-of-line testing procedures and quality assurance measures.
Manufacturing Operations: Oversee the relocation to new manufacturing facilities, including managing the physical setup and securing the necessary insurance coverage.
Supply Chain Logistics: Oversee supplier qualification and management, ensure timely ordering and supply of required parts, and handle price and payment term negotiations with suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, or relevant fields.
Previous hands-on experience in setting up manufacturing capabilities (electro-mechanical product with annual output of 1k-10k units)
Experience in most/all of the above-outlined fields of responsibility
Experience in battery systems as a plus
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
Detail-oriented documentation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
