Head of Manufacturing (m/f/d) - (Full Time)
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processes & Tooling: Lead the introduction of the required tooling and the setup of all related processes (ERP, MES, …)
- Assembly: Define the assembly process, assembly line layout, and format of assembly instructions.
- End of Line & Quality: Define end-of-line testing procedures and quality assurance measures.
- Manufacturing Operations: Oversee the relocation to new manufacturing facilities, including managing the physical setup and securing the necessary insurance coverage.
- Supply Chain Logistics: Oversee supplier qualification and management, ensure timely ordering and supply of required parts, and handle price and payment term negotiations with suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, or relevant fields.
- Previous hands-on experience in setting up manufacturing capabilities (electro-mechanical product with annual output of 1k-10k units)
- Experience in most/all of the above-outlined fields of responsibility
- Experience in battery systems as a plus
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
